I would like to log afr's internally using a PLX SM-AFR which has a narrow and a wide-band output, I'm looking to find out the best pin to wire the wide-band 0-5v output directly onto the ECU. is there such support in the logger ?

Is the serial logging not feasible? I thought I had read where someone had been able, or was trying to log through the TGV inputs...

Just follow the instructions in the manual for wiring up the serial connection and plug it directly into the computer. No need to worry about 0-5VDC connections to the ECU or anything.

serial logging is a little messy with my new laptop not having a serial port and those usb converters are not the most reliable and I'm not sure if the serial output on the PLX DM5 will work or is it just for daisy chaining the gauges. That's right I too remember somewhere about the TGV inputs......any development on that and hope the 2003 JDM ECU has the support.

This is a full-on rally car running with a motec m800 (without data logging and wide-band support enabled) before it came to me and doesn't have any O2 sensors installed anymore.....since the PLX has a narrow and a wideband output I'm trying to rig them up and get it going.

I think dschultz was talking about this:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4299

You can make your own serial-to-USB cable, cheap. :)
