LATEST BUILDS ATTACHED TO THIS POST *For the ones wanting to use MerpMod versions on cars that are not defined below (or in other threads) or just want to flash roms with different IDs I have observed the following: 1. if you compare 2 roms and they have the same content between 000000 and 002000 you can flash/use any one (examples AZ1G201G, Z1G20000, AZ1J500G, AZ1G700K, AZ1L100G, AZ1L100K) 2. for 2008+ if you compare the roms and they have the same content between 000000 and 002000 EXCEPT the area between 000FF8 and 001000 you can edit the rom you want to use - just put the same content from your rom 000FF8 - 001000 to the rom you want to use and you can flash it (I used for example an EDM 2008 STI rom on a 2011 SADM WRX) this means that with modifying 000FF8 - 001000 area and proper tuning all 68 roms starting with AZ1 from here viewtopic.php?f=35&t=7591 can be cross flashed or all 44 roms starting with AE5 can be cross flashed so you can use AE5IB00V MerpMod patched rom below on any AE5 rom in theory *USE WHAT I WROTE ABOVE AT YOUR OWN RISK , I did several cross flashing tests as described above but I did not test all possible combinations ...

ok can you do a test write of AZ1G202G over AZ1G700K ? just test write ... because I think they may be interchangeable (at least AZ1G202G with AZ1J500G are) and changing maps via SI-Drive only ? that would overwrite the SI-Drive functionality... how about clutch+brake+SI-Drive ? I need some other inputs so I know when you want to change maps or just use SI-drive ...

Flashing 202g over 700K works i have tried it before. so you recommend that instead of using the original ROM?
its just sometime confusing to use 6 maps and blend them with SI-drive as well.
its quite simple for me have 3 maps only and to change it using the SI-Drive only. is it a problem from operational prospective? if its quit long process don't waste your time I will just use what I have. as I don't have time now to test because of a work related project.
