Post subject:  MerpMod Development and Patching Install Guide Update
Hi All,

I have written an install guide with pics in it to help people/potential developers get the environment up and running for build patches and continue the development of MerpMod and MerpMod Forks such as kerchakone, Aijmod etc...

I was struggling with this for ages mainly due to the renesas website change and the downloads being not very intuitive and pointing me to the wrong toolchain and versions etc...

I hope this helps. Merp, if you could add this to your readme guides. it would be awesome.

The more I learn about this, I will try to write guides to help others contribute and work it out ;)

Nice, I figured out the installing after a while, this guide would have been a great help xD
Any way you could do a how to on making patches with some pics too? Cause this is awesomesauce

Hey, thanks for the comment. That is next on the list. ;)

I've been told once you know what your doing its easy, so once I figure it out, I will certainly do a similar guide on making the patches and probably how to patch your ROM.

Okay thanks for the Installation guide.
I've done all right, but, I'm newbie to compiling and disassembly.
Can you make a guide or help me to compile a patch for my ECU?

Keen on getting some further info on this, I'd be happy to help others out of the forum if I knew the steps to take to create a patch with all features.

I'm almost finished with the guide I'm writing which should be posted in the next week or so. Keep an eye out
