So recently I have been helping a friend of mine with a built hawkeye by converting his car to run speed density. I did a quick tune on a maf setup before starting the speed density tune. Car has the following mods
built shortblock stock heads FP Black FIC 1000cc injectors walbro fuel pump perrin rails with a stock pressure regulator APS 73mm cold air intake custom front mount intercooler.
My problem is that the car doesn't wanna idle right, it hunts really really bad sometimes stalls while doing this and other times randomly settles and idles perfect. On the factory tuned non merp mod map the car ran fine although it did occasionally hunt idle on a hot start low rpm but I figured it was because I haven't really bothered to scale maf at idle because we were planning to use the maf map to break the car in and after full break in and tune was gonna switch to merp mod. So after spending some time tuning the car on merp mod I cannot figure out why its hunting idle so bad, I figured it was hunting so bad because low rpm/load ve was off and after spending a lot of time I was able to get ve dialed in and I have set idle rpm at various points like 1600rpm, 1200rpm and 800rpm just to get the ve dialed in, this was very difficult to do because of the hunting but when idle finally settled I used fuel trims to get ve withing 3% as you can tell by some of the logs attached. So even if idle settles after you tap the gas pedal to rev it the process starts all over again, it hunts forever sometimes stalls and sometimes settles. Has anyone on here had any issues like this? Is it possible to have a bad purge control solenoid cause any of this on a speed density setup? Map attached is the merpmod patched rom on its current revision, VE has been scaled for the full sweep at 22-23psi I also noticed that I had to add ve at random spots up top due to lean spikes for whatever reason. There were some other areas that were asking for weird VE values to hit target afr. I attached a few logs, warmidle2 is to show the idle rock solid at 1200rpm with nearly 0 fuel trim, warmidle1 is to show idle at around 800 with fuel trims under 5%. Possessedidleafterwarm start is self explanitory. Any input would be much appreciated!

the ecuflash definition I have for this rom which I believe isn't complete because i'm missing some tables like flat foot shifting and lc. if anyone has a complete ecuflash def please attach and thank you.

I have not messed with load smoothing factor yet just wanted to see if there is anything else I am missing or doing wrong that would cause idle to be so unstable or problematic.
