you need to log a few specific things across the entire operating range of the motor (besides manifold pressure, rpm, and manifold air temp) in order to accurately establish a VE table - you can't just take a MAF scale and make an accurate VE table from the MAF scale alone. In fact, you don't use the maf scale itself at all, you just datalog a bunch of things and do calculations on those things and plot out a table from that.
If you want to take long datalogs of specific things, i can take those and do a writeup and working example on how to properly start from scratch on a MAF based rom.
Otherwise, you're only option is to start with a VE table that is made from a very similarly set up engine that has already been scaled, and then you have to make all of the rest of the rom match regarding compensations so that it's relatively close.
Have you already invested in an air temp sensor for your manifold? (or at the very least, post intercooler/pre-throttle)
I havent got one of those sensors yet, could you point me in the direction of one?
