Is there an update to this? Looking to get rotational idle like the carberry Rom. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Merp, is it possible that the logic which controls timing retard during shifts on auto transmission ROMs could be grafted into a MT ROM like this one? I refer to the routines detailed here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1158

I'm imagining that the clutch pedal signal could be substituted for the torque cut request signal from the TCU. Timing could then be retarded by the table values, helping keep the turbo spooled during shifts.

Yeah... when doing FFS it would be very benficial to be able to have control over how many degrees of ignition retard is applied when going at the clutch pedal. The retarded ignition drives a lot of exhaust energy towards the turbine which keeps boost much higher during shifts.

However with the current FFS strategy which basically modifies the OE revlimit to something much lower it probably wouldn't work. Why?? Because the OE revlimiter gives 100% fuelcut when hit. When there is no Fuel being injected even retarding the hell out of the timing won't do anything.

Ultimately you want to have control over the amount of Fuelcut being applied as well as the amount of Ignition retard being applied when pushing the clutch pedal.

Looking forward to any improvements on this matter! Keep up the works, chaps.

Cheers,
