I just got done doing a fmic build on my 2005 sti. I am not using a maf. I am using a gm 3 bar map sensor and a gm iat. Both are working per the rom raider logger. I am unable to start the car and have a p0244 wastegate solenoid code.

I have read the cobb tuning sd guide 10 times. I am at my wits end. Another set of eyes on my map would be greatly appreciated. What am I doing wrong??

Thanks in advance.

Have you unplugged the MAF sensor?

Yes, no maf sensor at all. I think I figured out the issue. With the key on I am reading 30+ psi on the map sensor. I either have a bad gm 3 bar or this is a chinese fakey one. Since it is reading 30+ psi I am throwing the p0244 code which iirc is fuel cut, hence the no starting.

Is there a possible way to scale the map sensor correctly?? This is a brand new sensor and pigtail. I just need the correct scaling.

I flashed the stock scaling back and with the key on it reads 22.55 man relative pressure.

With the gm 3 bar scaling flashed and the key on it reads 26.15 man relative pressure.

Any thoughts??

Any one of the scalings for the GM posted should get you close enough to get running. See viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7620 or Nasioc, evom, etc. If it still reads that high, it sounds like a dud. I've been happy with OMNI sensors.

You may run into some issues with the unplugged MAF causing limp mode.

I think the sensor is shot. Back to the drawing boards. Thanks for chiming in Merp. :-)

WOW!! I put my stock map sensor back in, had a hard time starting the car as it was running lean, it's 40 degrees out, and I am running e85.

I am using 1000 cc five o injectors that were originally scaled to 684cc's for e85 on the maf map I was running previously. I had to scale them down to 400cc's to get enough fuel to start and hit my fuel trims.

Went for a short drive and first impressions without even revising the ve table are WOW WOW WOW! You did a great job making that table, my fuel trims are all so close to what they were before the change over to sd.

I have enclosed the map I used to get it up and running as well as the datalog of the first drive.

E85, 45mm turbosmart hypergate (17psi spring), TD06SL2-20g, huge fmic (custom fabbed by myself), turbo xs rfl vta, 1000cc five o injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump.

THANKS MERP!! :D

Glad to hear you got it working well!

All credit for the default table belongs to Freon :)
