I've broken my SD tuning spreadsheet into separate workbooks for both open loop and closed loop tuning. It was getting too clunky to deal with, I kept break one or the other when making changes, this should make it lots easier to update. Anyway here is the open loop version of it.
29 March 2014: removed Trimill plugin requirements, as it doesn't seem to run under Win8. Replaced slider control with text box, Win8 apparently no longer supports that control for office.
26 September 2013: added "SD_OL_Fueling_rev2" this is the latest version that I use. Check out the fields that it is looking for to figure out what you need to log. The slider is used to adjust how far from the breakpoints the data is allowed to be, to be considered valid, default is 55%. Play around with it, it will make sense. The only filtering is WOT=100, up to you to make sure your logs are good...

I have been fighting with your original spreadsheet and now this one to get it to work. The debugger opens everytime I click on a button.

I was missing trilookup. I got it to work but now I get an error 13 mismatch when I use either of the filter buttons. Also the working rom area of the sheet on the input page needs to be made larger to accommodate the larger sti tables. See attached file.

It won't work with Merps sd roms. The ve table is too large and the MRP values/parameters are different.

So I may be showing my newbness here....but what do I do with the values from the OL tab on the newest version of the spreadsheet that you posted a few weeks ago. Are they multipliers for my current values or are they meant to be pasted directly into the SD table?

If anyone has a moment, I would greatly appreciate some input. I'm running Cobb speed density and I'm trying to use these tuning tools. I've paid for TriLookup. However, my issue appears to be that the open source roms use Absolute Pressure as the x-axis on the Rom Fuel Table, while the Cobb table uses Calculated Load (g/rev). Is there any way to convert or alter the macros? I get a Run-time error '13': Type Mismatch error and it references this:
Sheets(graph_page).Cells(data_row, 4) = Round( _ t2lookup(Sheets(input_page).Cells(input_row, ListBox_MPa.ListIndex + 1).Value, _ Sheets(input_page).Cells(input_row, ListBox_RPM.ListIndex + 1).Value, _ Sheets(rom_page).Range("A34: M52"), 4, 4), 2)
I appreciate any help!
-Jerome

-Jerome Are you choosing g/rev vs MPA in the field selection box? Can you post the sheet you are using with your data imported, I'll take a look. Thanks.

I am choosing Manifold Absolute Pressure. I've also inserted screenshots of my SD VE and OL Primary Fueling tables on Sheet1 and Sheet2. Please see attached. Thanks again!

Thanks again! If you are only going to log Manifold Absolute Pressure then your best bet is to just convert the g/rev values on the spreadsheet to MAP. And the easiest way to do that would be to log both MAP and load, then you have a general correlation. Do note that actual g/rev is affected by air density (temperature) so the cells you hit in the summer, might not be the same ones you hit in the winter. I wonder what rationale Cobb used to base different tables on different load references?

When I paste my VE table and fuel table into the spread sheet and try to copy and align I get this error (see screenshot) Attachment:
SDOLVEv3.jpg [ 87.14 KiB | Viewed 7693 times ]
What am I doing wrong? I'm pasting into an empty space...then clicking the button to align and move copied table, I am doing the same thing as I did with the CL version of your spreadsheet and it works fine.

I forgot to removed the references to Trimill and the Common Control libraries. I've uploaded the fixed version, please download and try again. Sorry...
