Great news :D Got a 128k image using that version of EcuExplorer :)))

The vehicle details are Australian Impreza RX MY99 (might be MY00?) with EJ201 engine SOHC

There are at least two generations (formarly three including Arabic EJ202).
Could you upload your ROM/ecuID/CaseID ?

The first one based on UnisiaJecs WA12212920WWW chip may permanently fail during reflash.
More recent ecu based on WA12212970WWW chip may be reflashed in a safe manner.

The last generation involves 4 4byte checksums + 2 1 byte checksums.

Sasha,
I have a 2007 ADM Liberty NA with air pump codes I want to turn off, It has the WA12212970WWW chip in it, Is it possible for me to reflash this ECU and if so how would I go about doing it? I noticed you said it could be read out with SSM, will this flash a modified file back? and do checksums nned to be corrected before hand?
can this be used as SSM to read and flash
http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/65- ... m-tcu.html

Thanks for any help.

Marty.

I have never seen MY06/MY07 ADM NA Hitachi.
This is the way to read the ROM.

Have you already disabled Secondary Air system and recalculated checksums?
I am afraid that currently you could not reflash Hitachi ROM yourself.
