Pretty sure that has fixed it!!

Bingo! Excellent.

I'll double check on the MAF limit for you.

I'm pretty sure that the 300 is the MAF limit - all the calculations are done in a round about way in this rom (well, compared to the boosted roms), with conversions between engine load and MAFgs constantly using the:
Load = (MAFgs*60/RPM) formula.

The sure way of testing it would be to lower it below the levels you are reaching, and see if MAFgs is capped.

Yeah ok, ill give it a go tomorrow.

Thanks so much for your help mate!! Its Starts, cruises and idles so so much better now. The knock control is working better now too.
Next is to install the new turbo (when it turns up)make new 3" cat back, re-tune and i will be a happy man!!

Only a pleasure.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of messing around with the load scaling (other than as a last resort) - it's referenced so extensively in the code that you don't know what the unintended consequences are. That's why I initially worked on changing the scaling on my rom for Engine Load B Limits - I was also hitting that limit and leaning out, and fiddling the scaling just threw everything off.

I see your problem. Im not sure that ill get to the point where engine load will be over 4.0.
But just for future proofing sake, i can adjust my Engine Load Limit (maximum) to 8.0 but i cannot adjust the RPM referenced table any higher than 4.0.
Would it be hard to change this so i can?
Thanks

Yeah, it was an issue for me - running a belter of a turbo, with meth and high boost (build engine) I was heading toward the mid 5's already. Car ran like a bat out hell until my oil pickup failed, and the bearings went :(

Easy enough to change the limit - it's the same issue as the other thread, the formula of converting the uint16 value limits the table to a maximum of 4. What you can do is define a 1D float parameter for address 7EB94, multiply that by 2, and your table will be double what it reflects.

Correct, that's the multiplier.

So FFFF = 65,535; 65,535 * 0.00006103545625 = 4.

If you multiply 0.00006103545625 by 2 = 0.0001220709125, will give you a maximum load of 8.

Did you manage to test whether that's the MAF limit?

When logging the MAF did go over 100 but it was bucking and spluttering so i guess it was the limit.

Is it possible to get the knock tables defined?
