Reading the air temperature from the plenum mounted air temperature sensor found in the JDMs would be best too instead of from the MAF mounted one, I don't know whther non-JDM cars have this too

Ok, but is this additional sensor all thats required to make this map work on say a 2004 JDM STI...?

Nothing else...?

04 JDM STi already has the sensor in place and wired up to the ecu connectors though not used by the ecu; can be changed easily though.

can you post a pictured of the plug for it??? i just got my ver8 ecu, and i have a jdm sti wiring harness, not sure of the year, it have a grey triangle shapped plug that i cant figure out what it is, and its in the middle of the harness

Sorry I don't have a pic right now, from your description though the triangular plug might be for the engine coolant sensor and thermometer, the plenum air intake one is rectangular, see attached schematic.

I flash GrN map to STI JDM 2003.
Work well, LC and ALC swith on buy AUTo ater spray button...
But if I open throttle to 0.68v for antilag support, idle is 4000rpm, timing is 41....
I cant understand why car not switch to idle map with -20 timing....
Any idea?

Car switch to idle table 4 if I open throttle more than 0.70v, but in map only 2 idle map.
And where I can change antilag settings?

Hey guys, been reading and reading on my Blackberry and I am not sure if I got this all. Will the 04 STi map work for a USDM 04 STi? Or only JDM ecu's?

Thanks

Don't think it will as those are 32 bit ecus and this is based on the 16 bit ecu, closer on your side of the pond would be the 02 usdm wrx I think.

The group n rom is outdated a bit. Read over this. Its based off the original group n rom but with much better features than the original group n.
