The open above value has the higher opening value (350) - they are flipped.

I may well have flipped them myself, have not looked at these for a while. I'll check out my original.

Any luck with checking these table defs yet? I've also tried changing the coolant temp def from farhenheit to celcuis, but it still shows -40 as the value? old def Code:
<scaling units="Degrees F" expression="(x*1.8)+32" to_byte="(x-32)/1.8" format="#" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />
<data>Transition Threshold</data>

When coolant temp is less than this value, the TGVs will potentially open. If this threshold is not met, the TGVs can still open if one of the other table threshold requirements is met.

modified Code:
<scaling units="Degrees C" expression="x" to_byte="x" format="#" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />
<data>Transition Threshold</data>

When coolant temp is less than this value, the TGVs will potentially open. If this threshold is not met, the TGVs can still open if one of the other table threshold requirements is met.

Any ideas why the value is not changing? The scaling units are changing ok so its the correct file/def.

ok so I can safety swap over the addresses of the tables, or swap the description around which is probably easier.
Doh, what I never considered was that it was actually correct, -40 degC is -40 deg F!!!, so its all good.
Thanks for your help.

These TGV tables might be of some use. Could someone define these for me? E2VG212E?

Hey guys, I have been trying to figure out why my 2007 sti with a2uj000j has the throttle delay that many people thought was emissions related logic.
First of all I'll give a short description of what was happening before: low rpm and low vehicle speed gave very poor throttle opening angle to accelerator pedal response time. I recorded a log of pedal vs plate angle and have seen upwards of 2 seconds of delay. - i found that the delay was different - reduced - by increasing rpm and vehicle speed.
Now this is very irritating having come from a 2004 sti and into an 07. I have been farting with tuning changes for a few months out of frustration... BUT yesterday
I figured out that it was NOT emissions related. I found that when pressing the clutch in slightly, it will give the drive by wire instantaneous response to gas pedal movement. The response effectively becomes just like a 2004 sti.
I ended up unplugging the cruise control switch at the clutch pedal and went for a test drive. Instantaneous response! Now I looked through my tune to see what significant differences there might have been in the cruise vs non cruise tables and there basically is none since I copy and paste into those the same values.
That's cool, and very relieving since I can now rally the car at the local ice track.
The problem is I don't have cruise control anymore since the switch deactivates it, as well as the brake pedal, etc.
I was wondering if we could find this same cruise/non cruise logic in my ecu, a2uj000j - i bet these tables can be found being the goofy ecu right before the 2008s.
Thanks! Isaac
