Hi

Many thanks... Can you sanity check this as the figures aren't what I'd expect:

I've added the following to the RomRaider 32BITBASE definition (mainly copied from the vehicle speed limit section):

Code:

   <scaling units="Vehicle Speed (MPH)" expression="x*.621" to_byte="x/.621" format="#" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />

    <data>Low Limit A</data>

Minimum Engagement Speed A

   <scaling units="Vehicle Speed (MPH)" expression="x*.621" to_byte="x/.621" format="#" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />

    <data>Low Limit B</data>

Minimum Engagement Speed B

   <scaling units="Vehicle Speed (MPH)" expression="x*.621" to_byte="x/.621" format="#" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />

    <data>High Limit A</data>

Maximum Engagement Speed B

   <scaling units="Vehicle Speed (MPH)" expression="x*.621" to_byte="x/.621" format="#" fineincrement="1" coarseincrement="5" />

    <data>High Limit B</data>

Maximum Engagement Speed B

And under the A2UI000K definition:

Code:

This reads the values OK, both Min values are reported as 20mph which is about what I'd expect. Max A is reported as 124mph, Max B is 158mph. I'd expect both of them to be around 65mph (which should be the standard figure, and the current 'tested' high engagement limit), so I think I've done something wrong... :) I get the same value on my dumped ROM and the 'standard' dumped ROM linked above, so it's not that mine has been fiddled with already...

Thanks!

** Edit **

Just read back through this, and the Max values (124 / 158) are the MPH equivalents of the contents of the addresses you posted earlier (200/255), which I guess are stored in the ECU in km/h? Something doesn't look right...

Hi

Anyone able to advise as to why the values aren't even close to what I'd expect?

Thanks!

I may have taken this a little too literally, but I can't match anything like that in my ROM - A2WD012A

Might be jumping in at the deep end with this one but if there are any pointers (or guides to interpreting these ROMs) it'd be appreciated. I've included the stock ROM.

I should have updated this thread - Oren helped me, for my ECU (A2UI000K) the high cruise limits are stored in:

Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Minimum_D C2144
Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Minimum_C C2148
Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Maximum_D C214C
Cruise_Control_Speed_Limit_Maximum_C C2150

Well, it appears I'm the victim of some kind of issue with the hex workshop search! I went looking for a similar pattern and found I have a section that exactly matches the values stated above! Starting at 63798. Just won't find it with the search.

Im having difficulties finding these cruise tables in my car.

I have 2003 jdm legacy gt, internal id A2ZJD02A and ecu id 2F04505606. Not 100% sure about the internal id but the ecu id is correct one.
I have attached the stock rom i pulled from the car. If somebody is willing to parse those cruise tables to ecuflash definitions i would be willing to donate couple of beers/coffees to that lovely person.

Looks like it starts at 5FF7C on your ROM.

Sadly, I've gotten myself completely stuck trying to modify my defs file to include it so I'm in need of help there too.

I've borrowed the syntax suggested above and modified it to fit my address offsets but I can't get it as far as the showing up in the GUI in any way. Even if I modify the base degs to change a word, I don't see it reflected in the programs.

So I either need some help there or pointing towards a good guide on modifying the definitions file! I may ask in the general help area.

My need to adjust the CC limit is compounded by the fact my VSS appears to over-ready by quite a bit. Can't set it over about 65mph in reality.

Went back and had another shot at it. I've got a better grasp of the definitions file now.

Lifted mine up to 155mph.

Hi Guys
Sorry for dragging up what looks like an old thread.
I have a 07 Legacy with SI and wanting to remove/increase the cruise control limit. Bit new at this and have pulled the ROM off using ecuflash..
I believe my Version is A2TB100A.
Any help would be great - I can send the rom via email to somebody that is use to doing this sort of thing and get it sent back with the changes would be awesome.. or if they could explain where to make the changes myself as I have been looking but unable to find.
Thank You
