Do we need ECU def file(.xml) for this 2008 STI ROM AZ1G201I?
Without the def. file, I can only see ROM Info on EcuFlash.

It's 08EDM ROM downloaded from openecu.org. Last night I started little research on my own, and after few hours was able to write scratch RR defs with couple of tables covered.

Try doing that for all 150+ tables and 30+ logger parameters in IDA and verifying if there are any logic changes at the same time with complete accuracy, then we'll talk.

I'm working on the defs right now, however they are not finished.

I keep trying. At least, now I can imagine how hard is that. I'm lacking IDA knowledge thus often getting stuck

Been working on the CAN ROMs and finished one of the two EDM 08 STi ROMs that were submitted. Interestingly, like the 07 EDM STi ROM in comparison to the USDM 07 STi, the CL to OL delay with the EDM 08 STi is always zero and the additive advance is disabled (unlike the 08 USDM STi). Also, this ROM has the rev limit fuel resume effectively disabled just like the pre-recall 08 USDM ROM. I do not know if there was a recall for the EDM 08 STi or not (maybe the other submitted rom is the recall rom). I'll update this when I do that one.

EDIT: The other one that was uploaded they listed as an EDM ROM, but is actually JDM. Would be interesting to know if there is a recall ROM for EDM 08 STis. If not, that would be very interesting.

Does that mean 08 EDM STI use the same 07 EDM STI tuning style..straight forward of Single Base timing + Single Timing advance .

No, none of the ROMs are that straightforward anymore, however the 08 EDM STi and other CAN non-STis do not use the two additive advance tables of the USDM 07/08 STis.

All the official CAN defs for RomRaider/Ecuflash will be released at the same time. Hopefully by the end of this month, or maybe in the first week of October.

I want reiterate that if you downloaded the preliminary defs for the 08 STi before I removed them, you should not use these to tune with (as I originally stated) as they contain incorrect and missing table definitions. Wait until the official release which should be 1-2 weeks. The preliminary defs were only posted to give users a sneak peek at the canbus stuff.

So, can you post AZ1G202I ROM?

**EDITED FOR ERROR**. Had mine reflashed before I could download my original ROM. I'll post it up here for you, a friend has his new cable already and we'll download my ROM soon. Am based in the Philippines btw.
