sorry to drag up this thread from the dead, I have AZ1G202G - I'm trying to work out which way some of the original map switch tables are mapped to the RR defs/template you have on the second page.

I haven't seen a subsequent def for this ROM after the descriptions/tables changed to TGVs...

No need to reinvent the wheel - always check the Github repository first:

good stuff...

I wonder if these tables would be useful in using the TGV output (when deleted) to drive an exhaust cutout....

Does anybody know what sort of motors the TGVs are ? servos ? what signal does the ECU give to open/shut them ?

In my logs the TGV's show Volts 3.58 when they are open (full throttle) and 0.82 (idle/cruise) when closed.

You'll only find these in 07 Sti's onwards.

How are the TGV's controlled?

I'm sure there is logic in the older roms that controls the TGVs - but not using these tables. Would need to be found...

Has anyone ever looked into this logic? I'd also love to re-purpose the TGV stepping motor driver in the ECU to operate an exhaust valve vs. MRP. Some hysteresis would be great, or a timer to delay closure once boost drops below threshold so the valve isn't constantly cycling at it's activation point or closing during gear changes. I'm thinking a push-pull cable system as you see on motorcycles to drive the actual valve... Either reuse the TGV motor and position sensor assembly for this or re-purpose one of the motorcycle servos to suit.

Hi, i was wondering if someone could help me with the definitions for az1g900c. I think i've entered throttle happys addresses into my definitions but my tables dont correspond to rpm properly. Could somebody check them for me? coz my RPM axis shows 0-100 and my units are everywhere and i thought with the wrx all 3 tables should be the same. only thing ive changed is "MAP" to "TGV" coz the newer 32bit base from Td-d has TGV instead of MAP

<table name="MAP_Switch_Cruise_REq_Torque_Thresh_Max_A" category="Misc" address="d4b00" type="2D" level="1" scaling="Requested Torque (TGV Switch)">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="d4ac0" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="MAP_Switch_Accel_Switch_REq_Torque_Thresh_Min_A" category="Misc" address="d4b60" type="2D" level="1" scaling="Requested Torque (TGV Switch)">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="d4b20" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="MAP_Switch_Cruise_REq_Torque_Thresh_Max_B" category="Misc" address="d4bc0" type="2D" level="1" scaling="Requested Torque (TGV Switch)">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="d4b80" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="MAP_Switch_Accel_Switch_REq_Torque_Thresh_Min_B" category="Misc" address="d4c20" type="2D" level="1" scaling="Requested Torque (TGV Switch)">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="d4be0" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="MAP_Switch_Cruise_REq_Torque_Thresh_Max_C" category="Misc" address="d4c80" type="2D" level="1" scaling="Requested Torque (TGV Switch)">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="d4c40" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="MAP_Switch_Accel_Switch_REq_Torque_Thresh_Min_C" category="Misc" address="d4ce0" type="2D" level="1" scaling="Requested Torque (TGV Switch)">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="d4ca0" type="Y Axis" elements="16" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

Just wanted these tables to delay my car from entering non cruise map when traveling at 110km ~3100rpm. my mileage goes up from 8l/100km to 10l/100km on my dash display.

Also just realised that the addresses are the same for the forester and the wrx. Entered the addresses into the forester definition and voila its perfect. I think the addresses must be different for the wrx az1g900c

Okay. i may have worked it out if somebody could please check these for me AZ1G900C that would be great. The addresses i got were by comparing the forestor rom and the wrx rom and using throttle happys address for the forester. i found differences of 680 in decimal for some tables ie Radiator Fan Modes (Veh. Speed i chose 5 with started around the same hex address as the forester. which all equaled a difference of 680 in decimal. So i used that to find these address. and low and behold my tables look like they should now! yay!. but im a noob and im not sure if coding is meant to be done like that.

thx
