There's a long an over-developed story behind this that I can share if desired, but I've managed to put myself in a really obnoxious spot. I can't pass inspection with my standard ROM because it's CarBerry and the NY inspection machines don't get OBDII info, and I can't pass inspection on the stock WRX ROM because I don't have a MAF sensor, so disabling the MAF codes prevents the car from running on the MAP sensor (failsafe speed density). Hard to inspect a car that doesn't run.

In essence, is it even possible to modify the assembly language to force the WRX ROM into failsafe SD mode, regardless of MAF codes being disabled?
