I did ej20x swap on my 04 Forester XT, now it's running with USDM ecu with tuned.
I prechased a JDM ecu from 03-04 Legacy GT (22611AH120). But it won't start with this JDM ECU.
Someone told me this ecu has the immobilizer, is it ture? How to identify? This ecu didn't come with the engine...
and my 04 Forester XT didn't have the immobilizer, can I still make the JDM ecu works on my Forester?

Thanks
Thomas

22611AH120 ecu has immo.
You may see P157x errors.

You are to disable immo in the flash to start your car.

may I ask why you wish to switch to the JDM ecu , if you already have it running and tuned on your USDM ecu?

The ej20x is dual avcs engine, and my 04 XT only single avcs.
