Long story short I replaced my ej25 with an ej20x in my 04 fxt. I'm wanting to use a dual avcs ecu and add the required plugs and wires etc. I purchased the ak233 ecu but it didn't start no cel light with key on. Comparing the wiring diagrams it looks like the ign and cel are pinned which I can handle. My next issue I think is the immoblizer. Should the dealer be able to remove that totally or someone else have the ability. My car doesn't have it at all and I'm not adding all of that. Final situation, seeing I can't get the ecu to power up in vehicle I tried using the unbrick method and writing a new rom. I know my set up works because I've used it in past, I even did a test on a spare xt ecu but I'm getting an error that says 0.18u etc... Which I can't find much except from the flash utility and it just tells about rom type. I'm just trying to get it correct ecu and take advantage of the exhaust avcs.

It error is 0. 18um which is described as:
