No I didn't get any errors.
I attached the ROM I was using, now I'm unable to revert back to it.

you can't flash a JDM or EU map onto a USDM ecu - your ECU uses the wrx04 flash method and the JDM file you loaded uses the WRX02 flash method so it's most likely you've bricked the ECU and it will need replaced.

from the research I've done, it seems to be locked. The car is still drive-able, but not enjoyable. It's very pissed off lol.

Here is a pic of my saved ROM I'm trying to revert back to, and a pic of the JDM ROM that's currently on and making my car run like doo doo...WHAT AM I MISSING? How can the ECU read the jdm map and write it to the ECU, but can't revert back to the map that was previously on there..?? Attachment: IMG_3652.JPG Attachment: IMG_3653.JPG

yes it's locked now because you've flashed the wrong bootloader onto it when putting the JDM map on (different boot method).

The resolution is to buy a new ecu - you've bricked this one, and the 16bit Ecus are not recoverable via shboot like the 32bit ecus.

Is this from your personal experience or just a guess?
The options known to work that have been posted are:
-Dealership can reflash/reset -Cobb AP. Marry and unmarry will reset the ecu
The dealer here wants way too much, and I don't know anyone with a cobb. Therein lies my dilemma...
Somebody somewhere with a s*** ton of knowledge has cracked this code. That's all it is. I need that guy..

This could have been avoided if you spent the time doing just a bit of reading before going at using it.

Where would R&D (research & development) lead us to without a few f***... Pointing out I'm a noob doesn't get me any closer to a resolution captain obvious..but, thanks for your .2 cents
