I recently did some regular tuning and reflashing on my 2006 legacy 2.5i, the day after I get a CEL and blinky cruise ctrl for c314a and b2aea codes. They come right back after deleting if you turn it completely off and on again. Hasn't affected how the vehicle drives but I don't want to be annoyed by some ghost codes causing a CEL or blinky cruise.

A Bluetooth obd2 scanner/live data tool. I’ve never had an issue with it misreading codes and it’s capable of reading non standard address codes. I’ve only found one website per code that says what they are, the c314a is a bad chassis and b2aea is a obd2 code, however they didn’t say it was specifically the definition for Subaru. The car drives normal and has no drive ability issues except for the CEL and blinky cruise

Codes starting with a B or C are usually body or chassis codes, from the BIU, H/U or the ABS. I searched the 2005 FSM and your codes are not listed, so I suspect your scanner is mis-reading something. P codes are engine/transmission codes.
Try the attached procedure.

I tried the procedure and it didn’t do anything. I did find when I turned the key one click and flipped through the trip that there was a third option either s-off or s-on. I’m not sure what this is but it appears even with the diagnostic connector disconnected
