Am new to this forum.

I have searched a fair bit and cannot find a definitive answer.

Basically I have just bought a 99 gt forester which has a JDM v6 ej207 in it. The shop that did it changed a couple of pins apparently and the v6 ecu works perfect. The car currently has an Apexi PFC in it.

I am getting this car in a couple of days (just want to get some stuff sorted in the mean time)

My question is, what is involved in putting a v7 ecu into the car instead of the v6 one? My aim is to run the CarBerry custom rom.

I am not sure what the ecu's plugs look like. I think the v6 has 3 connectors? Not sure about the v7

Any input would be much appreciated.
