I did a search here and couldn't find it anywhere.
I have a spare ECU and I was hoping to pull the rom from it without putting it in the car and getting my keys coded.
Does anyone know if this is possible? And how it is done

Your best bet would be to find a compatible car and plug it in to download. Even if the car is immobilized, you can still read/write the rom.
Otherwise, you're looking at making a SHbootmode cable and hardwiring into the ecu. And even then, I'm not sure if SHbootmode is read/write or write only.
