I was wondering if anyone would happen to know which additive table is used in non-cruise mode. I know there is a blending and multipliers for each additive table but I'm not sure which one is used in non-cruise.

I am guessing that Additive B is the one for non-cruise, in which case, assuming stock values and that KCA = ((KCA primary max + KCA additive A) * IAM) + KCA additive B, then total KCA should look like:



Does that make sense? Those are some awfully high KCA values, though the 09 WRX has a max KCA of 7.38 in some cells, so I guess it isn't too crazy.

The reason I am trying to figure this out is because I want to know the total ignition timing for some of the stock load areas. I think my current map could be a bit more optimized in these areas and I'd like to start with stock values. I'd also like to 0 out the additive tables and add that timing to the primary max tables (so I don't lose timing.) I just need to know which additive table is active when in non-cruise.

I assume only one additive table is active at any given time.

Now that NSFW has his IDA guide up, I'm going to try and find and analyze this logic myself.

The logger defs seem to hint that values from one of the additive tables can potentially be added to the active advance table (cruise or non-cruise), but so far, I haven't witnessed this behaviour. Under WOT, I only see values from KCA non-cruise.

I need to do some more investigation.

Look for some map-switch or map-ratio values that you can log. I think one of them is already defined.
