Is it possible to flash a different rom into my ecu? Im looking at trying to flash a newer rom into my 2006 adm forester 2.5

Or even flash a 06 forester xt rom onto it?

There's too many years between them that the ECU hardware (circuit board and components) may not be compatible.

A turbo ROM onto a NA ECU? Same problem with circuit board differences.
