You can do 4 maps or even 8 maps, which actualy dont need them, i already did quad maps for my m50b30 non vanos motronic ecu
The real "+" will be the design and if we can use a better switchers like rotatif switcher or just button with numbers 1 2 3 4 to switch between maps
You can use eprom bigger size or dual eprom or both if want a million maps its always same principe

if you wanna know how to make quad map on 402 ecu use 1Mo eprom ( and better be flashable ) like 27SF1001 if i remember 27SF any way is same like original eprom but flashable so u can use it many times
and for the setup use same like this shared one with 2 switchers for the maps
dual tune will be like
1st tune 1
second 0
quad tune will be lake
1st 0 0
2nd 0 1
3rd 1 0
4th 1 1

Could you give me som hints of how to set up the dual firmware in the bin file?

The hardware stuff I hope I will manage to do. But one question there, do I understand you correctly when you mention that the switch doesnt have to be with the circuit that has the numbers shown? A stable 5V I hope is enough to make the switching between the two firmwares/maps.

In the Russian file doc I can see four different 64kb-bin files (for a MS43 ver066).
Their names are:

c5666508_Ca430066_Stok_Cal.bin

The stock version I could guess is a back-up.
But why three different "MOD4.bin"?
