Hey i swapped an m52 in my 1995 e36 the engine came out of a 1998 328i. I have the engine and everything in and connected and without any modifications to the ews the car cranked over but I wasn't getting any spark because of the ews so I deleted the ews using ms41 quickflash and the ms41 ecu portal but when trying to start the car i still get a code for my ews it says ews manipulated dct code 209 i am wondering if i have to loop the connectors from the ews module to get it to start but I'm pretty sure that was only to get the starter to turn on but as my car is ews1 I didn't need to loop the connector to get it to crank I'm wondering if I maybe still have to do that or maybe I'm flashing the dme wrong any help would be much appreciated
