 Post subject: Any info on how to build the (RR) engine definition file?

hello guys,

i´m currently trying to gather information on how to build an definition file for MS43, but it seems theres not much information on that topic?

Thanks for that, it is indeed a definition file but i was actually looking for information on how to build the romraider definition file so we could use romraider for MS42/43.

I´m pretty familiar with TunerPro software, so if i get stuck i´ll probably choose TunerPro software.

Just follow the example of the MS41 definition.
There's a BASE section that defines all the parameters for a map, the data and axis and the scaling paramters. The part that is left out is the ROM address. The address is listed in an ECU/DME specific section. This allows for different releases of the MS43 software to be defined without having to touch the map definition, unless the map changed in a release.
In the MS41 definition there is an embedded DTD which provides the available element and attributes.
The definition can also list multiple scalings so that Imperial and Metric or whatever unit of measure you wish to use can be selected by the user.
