We have an issue with E36 with M54 swaped in. We need to run it in alphaN mode. When MAF is dosconected the car starts but no responce after using accelerator pedal. Inpa sees movement of pedal but engine is idling. Same situation when MAF is unmounted from intake and is connected to hernes. Anyone know what is this causing?

After my surgery i will do some video footage of my car using stock alpha/n system of MS43 and revving the s*** out of it!

Pretty sure you need to look at c_tps_max_diag at 0x934h . Make it = to the data at 0x932h (2 bytes, 16-bit)

Install the brake switch accordingly to the E46 wiring diagram and you get at least throttle when NOT braking.

Well, Alpha/n mod is MUCH more then just patching c_tps_max_diag (which honestly doesn´t do anything to alpha/n!). You will need a working ews unit and some $$$ if you want real alpha/n.

If the MAF is plugged in but just not working the car will run just fine. Of course not as well as with working MAF, but you can drive it to garage without problem.

I'm afraid that way to garage is gonna take quite a time
