Hi All,
I'm looking to confirm that I'm on the right track when adjusting tables for larger injectors, I'm using Hobbit's most recent definitions and the 512kb full flash few_maps version and have a m54b25.
Taking the stock 15.3 lb/h divided by 80 lb/h (both at 3 bar) gives 0.19125 so I multiplied the fuel base map table by this factor. I've also adjusted minimum injection time (same as minimum injection pulse width???) as supplied to 1.9 ms and updated the injector latency table. Three table total have been adjusted.
Is there anything substantial that I'm overlooking or should this give me a good baseline to get started?
Thanks everyone!
Will

Hi Will,
simply multiplying the injection maps gave me a pretty rough engine behavior.
Try setting the t_ti_as_ global injector multipliers. And multiply only the time values with unit "ms".
Did the same for my Bosch injectors - working really well.

Thanks for your reply! Good to see you over here as well.
What is this attribute, I'm not familiar? Is this something that I would adjust along with latency time, basic fuel maps, and minimum injection time?

Quote: TI_AS_[i] = Cylinder indiviual multiplicative factor set via application system (i = Cylinder 1,2,3,4,5,6) The limits in MS42 are 0.5 - 1.5, but you can go even lower on MS43. (Atleast, it works for me) These six values are not yet defined in the RomRaider XML file, but in TunerPro software. After changing the limit inside the XDF file to 0.0 - 2.0 I was able the set my desired 0.359 (2Eh) for the 613ccm Bosch injectors. In addition to that, you still have to adjust prestart injection time and cranking fuel at cold engine start, as well as the rewetting values ip_ti_(slow/fast)_wf_thd_min_tco.

I recently added these values to the definition file, see in the other thread

Yes i noticed But I was talking about ms42. BTW I already added those for next definition for ms42 but need to test those first.

Thank you, this is helpful. Did you adjust TI_AS_[i] values, pre-start injection time, cold start cranking fuel, and rewetting table only, leaving the other fueling tables alone?? I've used ultimo to correct checksum and am having no start condition after 64kb flash (Galletto both ways and seems to have worked) The car was running fine with 512 few maps flash but wont start after adjusting 64kb. Any insight? Will

Any insight? Will just checked your file from e46fanatics. your injection is a mess. you've set t_ti_as 0.188 and injection at idle 0.2-0.5ms. also you left stock c_ti_min_iv 0.624. since you adjusted injector constant you shouldn't multiply tables with this value.
