Hi there

Have a ecu here which been flashed via JM garage flasher but when trying to connect to the ecu from siemens mss5x flasher, i get no "connection or unsupported ecu". ECU is a ms43.

When trying to connect to the ecu from inpa, it seems the vin number is missing (from what ive seen)

The file which was flashed as worked before but this time something as gone wrong and i cant work out what or why.
It was the ews delete 512kb file which was flashed to a ms43 ecu.

Any one be able to give any pointers?

OBD read blocked from stolen file!

It was due to a windows driver problem.

Roll back the updated driver, flash the ecu with the file again and worked fine.

Can anyone tell me why siemens mss5x flasher doesn't write the full 512kb flash but is fine for the 64kb flash?

Mss5x does full 512kb fine but doesn't write boot sector, which has VIN, ISN etc. Only garage flasher can do that.

arh i understand now. i thought it was down to windows being windows and causing a problem with the driver for my usb port.
