it is possible, but you need to know what to send. I think, we can hide an arduino based can controller inside ms42, and to use unused pins as inputs. But this idea need to be developed.

Any idea for make a/c button working in e46 with ms42 and damaged compressor? I dont want a/c working. I only want to switch dme state by a/c button.

It has been some time since I last messed with the a/c on/off tables, but if I am remembering correctly I am positive the compressor doesn’t have to engage at all. My 323 hasn’t had a working a/c since i’ve owned it and I was able to use the button to switch between the fuel cut on/off tables.

In my car it doesn't work. Nothing changes after pressing A/C button. I don't have outside temperature sensor and the pressure in A/C system in Inpa shows null, can it be a problem?

Maybe somebody still needs this.

I bought my track car with the A/C removed, and the outside temp sensor was also missing. As previosly stated the DME only uses the A/C on tables when it gets a bus message. If I remember correctly IHKA sends this after checking a few things like outside temp and A/C pressure.

I soldered a 4k7 resistor on the outside temp cable, and an 1:1 voltage divider (10k resistors between pins 1-2 and 2-3) for the A/C pressure signal. All the modules are happy now.

Hi! I have e36 and my car dont have A/C system.
How solve the problem? I need pop when AC is ON and dont pop when AC is OFF

Pin 29 from MS42 is only for AC compressor relay?
I have autodata schematic the wiring and two cables from AC but dont have pin ID O_o
Look screenshoot. A35 is ECU. And A03 is AC controller.
