I tried to understand the Realoem descriptions.

-Catalytic converter=normally for cars with already fitted catalytic system.
-Catalyzer preparation=its when the factory sends car to another country, in the destination country it will receive the anti-polution devices according with the country, in this mode the o2 sensores are not working so its like the alpha/n mode.
-Without catalytic converter=as the name says no catalytic converter or o2 sensors, the car will be in alpha n, normally those tunes says low compression dunno why.
-EU2=stand for anti polution and the car need will have catalytic (normaly just the manifold catalytic).
-EU3=stand for anti polution and the car need will have catalytic (normaly exhaust manifold catalytic+underfloor cat in case of M54 or just underfloor cat in the M52TU)
-EU4=stand for anti polution and the car need will have catalytic (exhaust manifold catalytic+underfloor cat on M54 cars not available for M52TU).

LHD
Catalytic converter/exhaust:
-catalytic converter in the manifold, stands for EU2

Software Available:
-''EU2/Cat Preparation'' tune compatible with both situations mentioned above.

RHD
Catalytic converter/exhaust:
-no catalytic in the exhaust manifold
-catalytic converter underfloor stands for EU3

Software Available:
-''EU2/Cat Preparation'' tune compatible with both situations mentioned above, same tune as LHD but still not EU2 cats available in the RHD just EU3.
-''Catalytic converter'' in the case of the M52TU RHD seems to be the EU3 tune?

I will not put the M54 RHD exhaust/software diferences here because the .BINS for the RHD versions are already available, but there are EU2,EU3,EU4,Cat Prep versions of software, and there are at least 2 types of Catalytic configuration available...cats on manifold and underfloor (4 cats), and just underfloor cats(2 cats) like in M52TU RHD.

I found that only the 330i RHD until 08/2000 share the same exhaust spec as the RHD M52TU models(just underfloor cats).

I have eddited this few times be make some corrections but all the info comes from realoem.

Looking for US 323i C6 software. Got the C6 software with EWS delete off of the MS4X wiki but its for a 328, so i want to try and flash the b28 EWS delete software and reflash a B25 partial over it so that the tune is correct. I believe the flasher should do on the fly checksum corrections.

Hello i need M52B28TU stock full room, LHD , 0110AD, can i flash another Softwareversion? If so which ones?

Sorry for stupid question, but i want to be sure before doing this. Its possible to flash ANY ms42 fullread on any ms42 ecu, or there is some numbers that should match?
