i tried different xml file and bin and always RR said ecu def not found can someone please point me to a working def and bin file ?? and how to make pop and bangs on this ecu ?

Hi there,
I have an DME from e39 540iA M62B44tu europe sedan from 99
The version of the software is 019022431
Can I Fullwrite another version with EWS off on it?
Have all versions identical hardware?
Maybe someone have a full 6901R412 or 6520R3Y6 for me?

Best regards Yes, make a backup with bootmode on, and flash another full read which was made with bootmode as well

What software are you guys using for 5.2 DME?
I saw EWS delete mentioned for 7.2, is it the same for 5.2?

I forgot to say thanks to zarboz and Fabio for their development with this. The complexity of everything involved is just insane. Can't really get over that. How do you even begin to understand assembly language?

I did a search for the string and found two sets (see file). Where do I add "CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00CC00". Both strings, first string, or second string?
