I'm trying to dig into a dump I took from Infineon TriCore ECU (TC1766) and disassembe it. I took the dump using PCMFlash, so i'm not 100% if all of the ROM was pulled or if only the map area was read. I'm trying to locate the reset vector to unfold the code, but i'm getting a bunch of nonsense. The BROM area has nothing but ?? for example, which apparently means no data. Doing an analysis, I get a lot of XREFs that point to areas in the first block that are all nop16 (00 in hex). I'm using IDA Pro 7.0

Any advice on getting going with this dump, or can someone confirm if I need to use a different tool to pull the dump from the ECU? Not sure if my offsets are correct or not, i'm using the defaults that IDA Pro gives me or if the dump is junk.

Someone recommended using BitBox, does that work differently than PCMFlash?
