Ok, so I have a ROM that was "soft locked" by the guy who tuned the car originally. I am able to read, and flash the tune using ECUFlash, and i'm even able to edit the map on ECUFlash, (which is extremely tedious) and flash a new version of the ROM to the car. My biggest question is if there is a way to get romraider to read the custom ECU definition, or a way to compare the custom rom to a stock rom so I can make a duplicate with a regular ECU definition. The car is an 06 9-2X(WRX). Any help is greatly appreciated, I've been searching other topics on the forum, and I have learned a great deal since joining, so I just want to say thanks in advance to all of you.

Ok nevermind; I figured it out. Compared the readable ecuflash xml to what romraider looks for in the xml. Modified the ecu_defs xml for romraider to accommodate what the soft lock changed, and romraider now reads the “soft locked” rom.
