I've just built a new dev/tuning laptop image, and on this version of RR (0.7.2) I dno't have an "enable canbus logging" option in the settings menu.
I've seen this on other people's RR's in the past, and never looked into why.
I'm guessing its something simple ?

Use the latest RR Logger def.

I've got a pile of old, heavily defined merpmod logger XML defs in the old format...

Comms method is defined in the Logger def since RR version 0.5.9 RC1.
