Hello,
I have two laptops, one is running with Windows 7 32bit and one with Windows 10 64bit.

With Windows 7 laptop Romraider is working for years without problems.
With Windows 10 64bit the program is working fine, reading and writing with Ecuflash is working. Editing roms with Romraider also no problem. But logging with Romraider is not working. I can set the parameters and start logging, but then it starts, stops, starts, stops and so on.

The installation was like below:

I uninstalled all Java 64bit versions. Then installed a new Java 32bit version.

Then installed Ecuflash and Romraider, after that the driver for Open Port 2.0.

I will attach the RR Log from Romraider, maybe someone has an idea what can be the reason ?

Best regards
Markus

Hi,
open port 2.0 incl USB cable is working fine on laptop with windows 7.
The Laptop with Windows 10 is brand new, and all 3 usb ports are not working.
I tried so much, I have no more ideas.

Best regards
Markus

Don't know if your still have this issue but I had the same problem. Been running BtSsm on my phone so I was never in any rush to fix it. But I end up getting RomRaider working few weeks ago for rescaling TGV delete. Removed and reinstalling everything with the newest version and then aslo installed cars_def.dtd and cars_def.xml. in my logger defintions folder.
Once I did this everything was working. First start up of logger had the TCU checked but check ECU and work great.

Hi,

i found it the Windows virus scanner is
the problem.
You can turn off the real time protecion
and it works fine or you can turn off
the complete virus scanner
I hope it helps

Best regards
Markus
