 Post subject: Logger creates blank spreadsheets with explanation.

Copied and pasted from a ten year old unsolved post. I'm having the same problem.

Ok guys new to this whole logging thing and having some issue. I have already read the troubleshooting forums and I can't seem to come up with an answer to this one.
05 fxt
Tactrix 2.0, windows 10

The issue I am having is even after connected to the cars ecu and I choose the parameters to log it will not save the log. Its says logging to file on the top bar of the logger window and it gives me the little blue dot in the upper right corner that says reading data (or something along those lines). I have moved the rr file to the desktop and chose that as my log output file location as prescribed in some of the troubleshooting topics to no avail. After I originally moved the rr file folder to the desktop It saved one full log successfully 700 some odd kbs of data. After that all it does is save a "log" that is 1 kbs and all it contains is the chosen parameters but no data. I

Location: Canada eh!
Shutdown RR and delete your settings.xml file. When you start RR again you will need to go into the Settings to select your logger def file and log storage location again.
