Win 8 64 bit HP Laptop, running Java 32 bit of course. I downloaded the latest version of RR and it worked for a day, and it won't work today. There's not a settings.xml file in my entire computer so that is not the issue. I open RR and the blue boot screen pops up and then nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

If there is no settings.xml file it will create one in your home directory under .RomRaider. This is where you should be looking to delete any corrupt settings.xml file from a crash or improper application termination.
