Okay, so after 2 days of fighting with this, I can no longer do this without some help. I tried to see if I can find solutions from forum, but came empty handed (or didn't understand everything) I've been trying to get romraider to work with my car mainly for scanning purposes, and I can't get it to connect with my car. I don't know where to start explaining, so I try to say all:
Car I have: Subaru Outback 2011 2.0D with MT I am using Tactrix Openport 2.0 (bought straight from them, so it's real one) System: Windows 11 laptop Java: Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_421-b25) Romraider version: 1.0.0, tried 0.9.4 with same issue
I originally bought tactrix 2.0 because I wanted to be sure I get cable that works 100% with my car mainly for scanning fault codes, with no scetchy stuff (i.e. chinese spyware drivers or re-engineered software to get it work with their device) and is high quality one, as I previously owned chinese version of Ross-tech Hex V2 for my VW, and it was horrible experience (windows antivirus was shouting all the time), but now I don't know if it was a mistake...
I have installed Romraider including all it's logger files, ecu defs etc., 32bit Java, everything thats said in romraider download page + openport 2.0 drivers and ECUFlash from tactrix website. I have even started from blank, and reinstalled windows to be sure it's not something wrong with that. I have reinstalled, deleted and again reinstalled everything, done it step by step again and again, but can't get it working. I have configured defs and logger file locations correctly. I followed the instructions in FAQ at "6. TROUBLESHOOTING ROMRAIDER INSTALLATION - 6.1 I’m having problems installing RomRaider with Windows install. What am I doing wrong?" to install it again. Windows device manager recognizes the openport, so I don't feel it's driver issue either, unless windows 11 is at fault or I have messed something up myself.
I have read trough the troubleshooting page, and nothing there helped.
I can get ECUFlash to detect cars VIN number (i think), but nothing more (guess it's coz diesel is not apparently supported?). At romraider, I try to use logger and it gives me error "unable to sen ecu init", it recognizes the openport 2.0 as the device of choise, when trying to connect tho.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is there still something I'm missing, need help, my knowledge is gone at this point. I attached some files to hopefully help you to diagnose my problem.

OK - you can see the first bunch of entries in there are all 64bit java, then you switched to 32bit at the end. Somtimes its good to clear out the rr system log then try it again just so all the entries in it are relevant to the current setup. have you tried running romraider as administrator? Could be win11 permissions not letting it use the openport as that seems to be the error: Code: 21:57:48,195 INFO [Query Manager] - Trying new J2534/ISO9141 connection: Tactrix Inc. - OpenPort 2.0 J2534 ISO/CAN/VPW/PWM 21:57:48,619 ERROR [Query Manager] - Error sending init: J2534 initialization: PassThruOpen error [8:ERR_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED], no devices available also if you try switching from SSM to CAN is there any difference?

Sorry for the messy log file, didn't want to mess with it/didn't want to screw things up. CAN-line started working, pretty sure I tried it at some point, but could be I was so tired I forgot something. Thanks
