Greetings,
I have a spare Raspberry Pi3b and I thought that it would be an excellent candidate for a small device I can use to run the logger. But I am having a heck of a time getting RomRaider up and running on Linux. Adamantly I am very new to Linux and I am not sure where to start trouble shooting, and I am looking for help.

First I have installed a 32bit version of Raspbian (based on Debian) because I wanted to avoid any issues with architecture knowing RomRaider wants a 32bit version of JRE.

I downloaded Eclipse Temurim a 32 bit version of JRE 8. Extracted the tar.gz file and installed it. Picture 1 shows the message I get when I check to see which java version I get. It would appear that it is reconized correctly.

After that attempted to run "run.sh" whic happears to do nothing.

Then I tried to run the command "java -jar /opt/RomRaider]RomRaider.jar" which results in an error promt that says "Can't find bundle for base name com.romraider.ECUExec, locale en_GB".

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

then it is not raspbian.

raspbians last release was in 2020 - http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbi ... _notes.txt

https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/ :
"Raspberry Pi OS (previously called Raspbian) is our official supported operating system."

If you give precise versions of software and links to them - I have 3b laying around - can try to see what is happening, may be that somehow might solve issue for you too :)

Here is the OS version I used. It is the lastest and greatest for their 32bit OS. Sorry for the untimely respose I was away from the old computer.

Well I figured it out. Turns out I need to set the default local on the Pi to None.

1:Run: sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
2: select all locales you want then hit okay
3: When it comes time to seelcting a default select "None"
4: Restart
