I have been up in running for awhile and recently have come across a problem.
I have an 06 obxt that i have been tuning, had an impossible time getting the correct version of java to work with windows 11, but we eventually got it. Made some changes everywhere i needed blah blah blah, i have pulled the rom, edited and reflashed several times.
ANYWAY, i let my father use my computer and the s*** has hit the fan. I can no longer connect to the ECU to log any information. I can still view the rom and flash to the ECU with ECUFlash. I can no longer log.
I am getting an error that flashes at bottom of the screen that reads as follows.
"Error: readMsg error: Timeout expired waiting for 52 more bytes."
He claims he didn't download any files or software or anything other than some PDFs that he received via email from a perspective employer.
the version of java i was running prior was jre1.8.0_431 with no issues, now i'm having issues. I uninstalled everything, RomRaider, Java, all definitions folders/files, deleted my tuning folder (except for my roms) to start entierly from scratch. ECUFlash remained as i confirmed that i still operated as it should as it could still read from ECU.
I have spent 5 hours on this today and am ready to drive this car off a cliff.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

are you using the latest logger defs and do you have a clean version of the rr_system.log file to see what it thinks is going on?
