Here is a quick (written quickly) steps i have found to help with Logger not starting or connecting.. I posted this on FB and can confirm its helped a few others now.. if i remember ill come back and re-do it better... FB cant use enter key and punctuation hard on a phone when its this big,,
**** ALWAYS USE THE SAME USB (or other devices) PORTS THAT YOU USED THE FIRTS TIME***** for any software.. itll save a lot of troubles
Do this in these steps,. 1.., Plug Tactrix into OBD port. 2. Plug USB Cable into tactrix and then into PC.. 3. Launch Rom Raider. Once its loaded 4. Launch Logger.. Now quickly stop it from auto connecting. Set to never auto connect, or reconnect if lost.. 5. If you had to stop logger from auto connecting (you'll get red text o bottom right panel changing status we don't want to see it) do steps 1-4 and hopefully you wont have it auto connecting and flashing error up.. 6. There should be nothing loaded, turn ignition on, hit the connect button, watch in the bottom corner for it to connect. (if all good precede) 7. Select a few parameters MAF, AFR. RPM, Load, Thorttle Position.. Make sure the flashing text is NOT saying error.. Hit the start logging. wait a minute stop the log, but stay connected and save this profile call it what ever.
8. Once saved plug in the wide band. UN SELECT ECU and TCU boxes. go to the correct 3rd pARTY plugin part select which ones (only ones pluged in).. go back to the select paramaters part Select ECU box again,, start ignition, hit connect to ecu, then start logging and save that profile..
If that worked above from now on, only need to do steps 1-4 then STEP 5 THATS BELOW (but wont need to stop anything because it wont try to load).. Now plug in WB0 hit connect and it should load the last profile. Hopefully that makes sense,,, its 3am im tired as f*** and i only sat up to watch f1
5. When Logger starts it shouldn't be reading or trying to connect. Once loaded Now plug in the Wide Band give it a second then hit connect.. Remember to Give Wide Band a good couple of minutes with engine running to send a signal.. They have to warm up

A shorter version of this is: Plug into your laptop the USB devices your will use, logging cable and WBO2. Plug the other end of the cables into the car. Launch RR Logger. Select the Protocol to use in Settings (info not already done so) Set Settings items as needed (Logger def, log output folder, logging options) Select the COM port to use if not using a J2534 cable. Select the WBO2 to use in the Externals tab, including the COM port if it needs one.
ECU Init should be complete now, select some parameters to log. Save a profile to quickly reference these parameters again in the future.
