can anyone point me to the right direction in regards to deleting the ews system on a MS40.1 5Wk9 003 found in the 95 2.0L M50B20 320i??

something I can wire up myself would be fine or if its software flash, works too. Looking for a DIY option on the cheap or whatever works :)

Thanks

I believe 40.1 uses ews1. I think it needs both a chip delete as well as a wire snip.

If you have 5WK9003 you can flash it with 5WK9002 and Immo is off. Bridge the 2 starter wires in the plug from immo box and everything works.

maybe you can point me a bit with the connection. I used same pins as for MS41 bench + L-line pin 87. Its not obd2 ecu so I cant use dcan cable. I used oem icom next for this but no connection. There are two possible causes:

1st Im missing some gnd or +12v on ecu because when I switch on PSU no amperes taken by ecu it self.

2nd I have to reconfigure protocol in ediabas for ADS. However I though icom could proces the ads signals itself because I can connect to ads cars just fine like older e36 but not on bench.
