Don't want to spam other topics so gonna posts here, well with obd2 port wired in, and fited through the glove box, I still have problems with logger, could my cable be bad or what type of problem am I looking at?

Note: the port does work, I can flash and read the ecu check for DTCs adaptations and everythinig, when ignition is on the logger works, as soon as I start the car, the logger loses connection.

Looks like you have data corruption. Either spark interference getting into the line or serial USB adapter or you could have a ground loop between the computer and the DME. Are you using a laptop on battery with only the USB for COM3 connected?

I was pretty sure it was spark interference, that's why I wires in an obd port in the glovebox but still have this issue, yes, only the laptop with it's battery and only the cable conected to the com3 port, nothing else, tried holding the laptop outside the car, inside the car, tried whatever I could find that other people did, but the results are always the same
