This worked great. I have been a lurker here off and on since the beginning. Fascinating to watch the programmer's minds work and I learned a bunch. This stuff got me through California smog test Hell.

OG MAF died last month ('98 M3 sedan manual 174K mi). I had a replacement (Rockauto "OEM" ...) that did not help with the California smog thing so it sat around for a few years (I am a rural mid-westerner now). I plugged the replacement in and the car fired up and ran well, but it threw codes for both front O2 sensors within 40 miles. Simultaneous failures of independent sensors are like winning lotto tickets, so I figured the MAF calibration was off. It was, and 3 successive runs of this technique fixed it. Just got 30mpg on an 100mi rural highway loop. Never seen that before. Maybe everybody should do this. The current transfer function for all these old and new MAFs can't all be the same.

I took 6 or so data files per run. ~1500 rows in the final aggregated data file per run. The cool thing about this technique is you can target a specific part of the MAF table with your driving "style" during logging. Did everything within RomRaider (except the flash of course).

Really nice work.
