The VSS PRM limit is defined so you can set your rpm limit to whatever you want. I don't know how to find/change that value in my .bin. I know some maps are based on speed and I don't want my VSS being off by 5.3333 to effect when my vanos comes on as I will be attempting to tune at various loads/speeds Vanos isn't vehicle speed based on 41.1. Just RPM 2d map. I can't think of anything speed based that will impact Dyno tuning on 41.1 Just make the change in a 41.2 file then look at the differences then make the value change at the location in your previous quote in your 41.1 bin.

Gents, there's a question (a look through forum didn't help): What is the conversion factor for these values? EDIT: it's 1*X. Don't forget that its Big Endian, so LSB first. e.g. for 641 at address E2 (partial) and 140E2 (full) we are to change 9F 17 (it's 6047 in stock) for 88 04 (1160) when doing e30 swap.

I think values for this calibration is different by default wheel size - for R15 wheels value is 6047, R16 is 6089, R17 is 6185. Any Confirmation on these values? if this can be confirmed correctly, we could define a definition switch on this

RAW 3450 , Applied in e34 With 188diff 3.73 17inch , corrected to gps. Its very hard to get it correct in e34(same as e30) because slow update value. 48tooth abs e36 VS 9 tooth diffrential (?)

If correction value will be 1160 You will hit 255km/h while driving 120km.
Yesterday did some test while tuning AFR: car e30 180mm diff 3,15 from e36 328i 9 pulse 17" wheels ECU MS41.2
Tested few values and closest i have put 3500 +- 20km/h read in RR Logger and compared with gauge.

Edit: Okay, I think I figured it out. I wanted to verify the correct value for the Land Rover Defender 2.8i in the MS41.0 ROM so I can transfer the value to MS41.2 for installing the S52 in the Land Rover. In the Land Rover 2.8i ROM the value at 0xE2h is E204h, so that would be 1250. That's very close to the value I calculated based on the impulses from the speedometer. I calculated 1267. So 1250 must be the correct value.
I based my calculation on 5095 impulses per km (converted from 8200 impulses per mile) that the Defender electrical library document specifies is the output from the speedometer to the DME. I calculated the conversion factor based on the 4663 impulses per km the E36 instrument cluster expects to see from the 9 tooth wheel in the diff, so the E36 DME is expecting 24869.3333 impulses per km from the ABS/ASC unit.

Guys, hello everyone. I removed the ABS unit from the car, e36 m52b28 m41.0. Now I need to fix the firmware in order to correct the formula for calculating the VSS. I tried to put the value 8804h = 1160, but got the difference between the speedometer and ecu. That is, when the speedometer is 40 km per hour, the ecu sees 20. I want to manually select the desired value but cannot figure out how to convert the value from decimal to hex? I try the Windows calculator in programmer mode, but for some reason it gives me different values, can you help me, what I'm doing wrong? For example, I enter the value 1160 in dec, but in the hex it outputs 488
