Hey guys, im new to the forum and i´m trying to learn a bit more about the E36 Engines and ECUs. Got an E36 328i and i want to try some PAB for fun. Looking forward to do some power increasement too. I´m a mechanic and know a lot about Audi and VAG etc. But BMW is kind of new to me, so i´m happy to be around.
Trying the RomRaider software today and i´m really on fire.
Have an nice day guys.

Is it possible to achieve pops/bangs when decelerating or when revving the car on limiter without messing with the fuel restore table? I have strange problem when i put my fuel restore above the limiter. When i rev my car the engine stalls and keeps staying on 5000rpm for instance This is also making the car undriveble. Well after i read the whole topic more than 3 times and did some tests, this is what i got without raising the fuel restore but playing with the RPM Hysteresis (Maximum) and the Delay Counter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gldubGelIU Too bad that the effect is very occasional Didn't suceed in making a flame just after i hit the rpm limiter and didn't succeed in making a good flame without a smoke lol. Maybe need some fine tuning the ignition degrees and the amount of fuel in the base map. It would be great if it is possible to achieve a flame like this E34 M5 in the video, or the RX7 after it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXYK9sr1kl8edit: https://youtu.be/9FKsct9zdPg?t=103this also looks great.

I am trying to add pops and bangs to my e36 m52b20 ms41. It's my 14rd attempt and I'm only getting PF PF PF PF sound and little pops. I feel like I tried everything, I even tried to increase fuel dose by 0.30 but it sounds same as before. Short clip showing my 'pops': https://youtube.com/shorts/3VbFjoudRgE?feature=share

I get 1-2 fire shots Wow so agressive ignition retard at the base map. Isn't this harmful for the engine ? I don't see different fuel period from stock. Maybe it shot fire because of the agressive fast ignition retard.

Maybe it shot fire because of the agressive fast ignition retard. I think any shots are bad for the engine. Especially when gasoline is pouring. The only thing I don't like is my rev limit when the car is unloaded, that is, it stands still. I have a custom free flow exhaust, m50b28 stroker, but the injectors are from m52b25. I have big flame shots while slowing down

Hey folks! Looking to do a flame tune on an M52B25. So far I’ve been working in “deacceleration” and gotten pops and bangs and small flames. Now I’m just wondering if me adding the right fuel is the best option I have? Looking to do medium to big flames.

r19 wrote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUJlVTMLoj0 So how about this one. Does anyone know how its made? It may not refer to "Deceleration" but looks interesting. I think its different ecu. MS41 turn off injectors at limiter. To achieve this you need turn off ignition at limiter.
