No space, no semicolon, no comma etc.

There must be another condition that turns VANOS off if throttle is closed or something.

yes, you are right! there are some before checks for VANOS OFF: - if LV_IS - if LV_PU AND N_32 < value from 102DCh (4000 rpm) - if LV_PUC AND N_32 < value from 102DCh (4000 rpm)
so for VANOS ON during PU | PUC we need to decrease partial 2DCh to, say, 1152 rpm -> set value to 24h from 7Dh.

its not always on. its forced to off below 4000 rpm AND pu-puc, otherwise ecu start to check for tps angle for simplified (if >60 degree) or rpm-temp against maf 3d table.
0x2FBh? this is LSHPWM_FAC_i gradient limitation in case of un-controlled oxygen sensor heater in ms412. its 02h. and its 14h (!) at 0x0204h in ms411.

That is too weird. Judging by the logs it is definitely off. I'll play around with the values of the vanos table some this weekend.

Got some nice results with -25* today which brings my decel timing to around 5 to 10* advanced. Logs show vanos is still off even after setting the light throttle table to low values. Ms41.1 may be handicapped here unless there's still something that hasn't been found yet. I'll do some more testing with different decel retard settings tomorrow.

Cool, I think I like the -30 sound better. And your exhaust is pretty quiet! Is the muffler a straight-through design? I'd like to hear it from a higher RPM too. You can also try increasing the 'Step Size' at high RPM to reduce the delay between letting off the throttle and getting retarded ignition. Any observations when driving and shifting? Does the RPM 'hang' a bit in between shifts? If so, you can adjust the 'Step Size' bigger to retard ignition quicker. Nice results so far. I think it makes the car more enjoyable to drive.

It pops between normal shifts. I haven't noticed any hang. I'll pay closer attention next time.
It's an AA track pipe and AA gen3 catback. The catback had a massive silencer which is why it sounds so muffled. But yes it's all straight through. Loud exhausts = tickets in my area. This setup is nice because it's catless and screams at wot but quiet normally.
I'm curious how these settings compare with the s52 as the stroke is different.
The plan is to have better videos tomorrow.
