Yes you can run open loop all the time if you want and include the wideband in the logger to adjust your fuel map.
But that's not the best way of doing

I see and I figured.... I mean do you suggest I run at least one sensor at bank one alongside with the wide band? I open to any better ideas to make this as safe a possible

Can I steal the thread with some noob questions?

Lets say I've almost finished my mechanical part of turbocharging m52b28. Now its the time for some ECU job.
What should I start with?
Im already using MS41.0 converted to ms41.2 with 2048 maf mode and calculated table for nissan maf.
My noob questions:
1. Do I have to extend fuel base map for higher load value? and then ignition tables? (there will be 0.7bar max )
2. How should I start to tune ignition base map for first start etc?

get a wideband o2. it is essential for logging and tuning. specially for ur radical mods.

I already have AEM UEGO and learned how to log afr with other parameters. Just dont know if I have to extend load axis because some people use stock 700 axis with boosted build and IDK how but it works for them (?) I can extrapolate load axis in base fuel table and it looks easy, but where load axis also changes then? Ignition tables only? And How to extrapolate ignition map for 1024 load instead of stock 700
